Syntax
int DataMapWrite(int fid,struct DataMap *ptr);

Description

The DataMapWrite function writes a DataMap data structure to an open file.

The structure is written to the open file with the descriptor given by the argument fid.

The structure is pointed to by the argument ptr.

Returns
Returns the number of bytes written to the file. On error, (-1) is returned.
Errors
On error, (-1) is returned.
